Currently, we are looking for a Operations Supervisor to join our client's team in Moncton, NB. You will be working with a company that is much more than one of the world's largest privately owned transportation and logistics company; they are an industry leader by carefully nurturing a reputation for quality and integrity.
Available Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM - 5:00PM
Rate of Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Recruit, train, supervise, and supports operations staff
• Create work schedules and procedures
• Implement procedures, give direction when needed, and enforce quality control
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism
• Implement improvements to maximize efficiency
• Prepare and submit reports
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
• Manage a staff of 8-10 people
Candidate Qualifications:
• Five-years similar experience
• Forklift experience/certification
• Understanding financial figures
• Relevant college/university considered an asset
• Previous experience in transportation industry an asset
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• This role requires the submission of a criminal record search
