Lendrum Eyecare is expanding it's team in our newly renovated office. We are looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant who is passionate about helping people! We are an independent clinic looking to provide the best eyecare for the Lendrum community. Experience is an asset but certainly not required. Our focus when building a team is always about to right people - and we can train you how we take care of our patients' vision!
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing a warm welcome to our office at reception while confirming and updating patient information.
- Performing preliminary testing and collecting health information for the Optometrist
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting payments and billing insurance companies
- Performing minor adjustments on eyewear
- Administrative duties including patient referrals, ordering inventory, and organizing invoicing
We offer competitive wages, paid lunch breaks, a Health Spending Account, in-house vision benefits, and a team-oriented bonus program. The ideal candidates availability would follow the clinic hours of 9am-5:30pm M/Tu/Thurs/Friday, our evenings on Wednesday 12-8 and the occasional Saturday 9am-2pm.
