Outreach Workers, under the direction of the Outreach Supervisor, are responsible for working with single individuals on income assistance and other resources to help them develop the skills to succeed independently in the community. The Outreach Worker will connect with the Outreach Supervisor and the Client Care Supervisor to create and initiate client-focused case plans. The individual will provide information to the client using their knowledge of local resources such as financial, medical, psychiatric, housing and employment services.
- Full time, permanent. 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- A minimum of 1-year experience.
- Strong understanding of the community and its traditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong commitment to privacy.
- Must have personal vehicle.
- Satisfactory criminal record inquiry is required.
Compensation: Starting $22.00/hr, limited available overtime, extended health benefits (co-pay).
