Packaging Supervisor

About us

Good Buds Company Inc. is a family owned organic cannabis farm on Salt Spring Island, BC.

We cultivate outdoors and indoors, and manufacture prerolls, hash and live rosin, and package it under out brand in house.

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee the operation of packaging equipment by operators and track efficiency, quality and consistency. Good record keeping, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude are a must.

```Duties```
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of packaging workers
- Maintain and operate packaging and processing equipment inlcuding batch weighpack machine, preroll manufacturing and labelling machines.

-Ensure that packaging operations are carried out efficiently and meet quality standards
- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed
- Train new employees on packaging procedures and safety protocols
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of packaging equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and best practices in the packaging area

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a packaging or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including assembly, fabrication, and packaging processes
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Proficiency in using hand tools and operating equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Lean manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• Packaging: 1 year (required)
