Packaging Team Member (Part Time/Casual)

Dominion City Brewing Co. is seeking a Part Time/Casual Packaging Team Member! Packaging Team Members are responsible for maintaining the quality of all our products as they enter new vessels. Keg cleaning and filling are a huge part of this role.

The successful candidate is willing to learn, grow, and adapt as a member of this team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in meeting goals of the Packaging Department in all areas
• Prepare packaging materials, and assemble packaged products for warehousing, distribution and/or retail channels
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all packaging, material storage, loading and waste disposal areas - Help to keep our brewery & warehouse space clean and tidy
• Maintain and meet required clean keg numbers based off production needs
• Assist with Taproom inventory and orders
• Assist in maintaining organization and inventory of packaged beer and packaging materials throughout our facility
• Being an everyday Dominion City Ambassador

Experience & Requirements:

• Has a passion for beer and a basic understanding of its production
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and excellent attendance
• Brings a positive attitude and contributes to creating an enjoyable work atmosphere
• Works effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Displays initiative and self-motivation
• Possesses a basic understanding of mechanical processes
• Is capable of physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25kg, and moving heavy loads repeatedly
• Upholds a no-nonsense approach to safety by maintaining and enforcing protocols
• Prioritizes equipment maintenance and preventative measures, keeping our operation running smoothly

Expected hours: 8 - 24 hours/week

Salary: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
