Job Description:

We are looking for a Book keeper to work with us on a part-time or contract base. This is a fast paced job looking for not only effort, but for results.

Job Expectations:

Responsibilities:

• Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
• Prepare GST, PST.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare annual T4s, T4As and T5018s.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple construction projects.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Assist project managers to monitor project budgets, track expenses, and assist in cost analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for upcoming projects.
• Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
• Support project managers with document control and contract administration.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and administration.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is must.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of the construction industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of the construction project management software BuilderTrend is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear criminal record check

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $32.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
