Part-Time Front Counter Associate

About Us: Arrow Equipment LTD is a leading provider of outdoor power equipment, committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a qualified and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Counter Associate.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare invoices and rental contracts.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Assist customers with parts lookup using diagrams and provide guidance on compatible components.
• Utilize your knowledge of lawn and garden equipment to offer expert advice and recommendations.
• Build, prep, and test equipment before sale to ensure customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean and organized Front Counter area.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to handle cash transactions.
• Some mechanical ability is preferred
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Previous knowledge or experience with lawn and garden equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with parts lookup using diagrams is an asset.
• Ability to build, prep, and test equipment is highly desirable.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• All applicants must be physically able to lift equipment and materials up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• North Vancouver, BC V7P 2S1: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
