Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Share your expertise in Pet Care and nutrition to help fellow pet parents make informed decisions to support the overall health and well-being of their companion pets
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting customer relationships
• Assist your team in all aspects of operating the workplace (inventory maintenance, merchandising, store cleanliness, etc.) and creating a fun, inviting space for all
• Undergo frequent product training
• Represent Global Pet Foods at local events
• Assist in job shadowing for new employees

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 Year of Experience Required
• The ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• A genuine interest in animal care and well-being (caring for your own pet or volunteering with pets is a strong asset)
• The ability to lift up to 40lbs/Comfortable using ladders/can stand for long periods
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Cash handling experience
• The ability to work shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Proficiency in using computers, POS systems, email, and spreadsheets
