Our Villagia in the Glebe residence is currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for the following position:

- The Registered Nurse is competent to provide care to our residents at the designated level of competence.
- Assists with activities of daily living such as elimination, mobility, social functioning and personal hygiene.
- Observes, reports and communicates information to appropriate members of the wellness team.
- Know the emergency procedures of the community.
- Applies the principles of infection control.
- Applies principles of the healing process, skin integrity and aseptic techniques.
Communication

- Continually assesses residents to ensure that the clinical presentation is consistent with the diagnosis and expected outcome. Monitors deviations from expected health outcomes and adjusts the plan of care accordingly.
- Recognizes when it is appropriate to seek input from other members of the health care team for the well-being of our residents.
Customer Service
- Responds to all resident/family inquiries (takes responsibility for ensuring a response is given).
- Fulfills commitments in a timely and responsive manner.
- Maintains a positive and friendly attitude at all times (greeting every family member, resident and staff member on site).
