Sydney Mazda is currently seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson/Advisor to join our team. This position will provide excellent customer service to retail and wholesale customers. In the role you will maximize sales of both OEM and aftermarket to the retail and internal market. A customer centric approach to all duties and interactions is a must! This is a fast-paced parts department with our goal set on 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers (including internal technicians, wholesale, and sales staff to obtain parts
• Answering phone calls to provide price quotes or information regarding for parts
• Place part orders
• Assist the Parts Manager in keeping an organized up-to-date and fully stocked parts department
• Assist walk in customers in selecting required parts, provide suggestions, comparisons, and requirements
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote products sales
• Locate and acquire parts and accessories from a variety of sources to ensure prompt supply and competitive offerings.
• Perform other duties as required/requested by management.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge in parts sales
• Strong computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Previous Parts experience is an asset
• Valid Driver’s license and drivers abstract
• Strong communication skills
• Physically able to lift 50LBS

· Salary range is $18-$20 per hour

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
