Seeking an organized, computer-savvy and motivated Parts Manager to head a parts distribution center that handles $5 million per year in parts purchases. Parts experience is essential to this role. Key Responsibilities:
· Check in, label, and distribute parts upon receipt or store in an organized manner until needed for the assigned repair
· Price and order parts to assist the estimators
· Track any incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary.
· Inspect all parts for damage, quality, and accuracy.
· Return and re-order any damaged or incorrect parts.
· Comply with all safety rules, guidelines, and standards
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Monitor the parts inventory and optimize inventory processes
Essential Requirements:
· Prior parts experience
· Accurate data-entry skills
· Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
· Exceptional communication skills
· Problem solving and issue resolution skills
· Aptitude for problem solving and issue resolution.
This job does come with physical demands. Lifting and carrying of parts ranging from light to moderately heavy and use of a ladder may be involved.
