The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Parts Warehouse Person you will be responsible for accurately processing all incoming goods and outgoing orders in a timely manner, as well as ensuring all goods are neatly and accurately stored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Parts Warehouse Person your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform receiving of shipments from couriers - verifying shipment to carrier waybill and reporting any over or short-shipments and damage
• Generate receiving reports for incoming stock orders
• Stock goods received, ensuring goods are placed in the correct bin location
• File vendor packing slips and carrier waybill copies
• Receive inter-branch stock transfers
• Process credits and printed orders, reviewing shipping requirements and determining urgency of order
• Pull items listed on order from inventory
• Pack orders, check all items pulled against packing slip to ensure order accuracy
• Prepare shipping documentation for order - bill of lading and/or carrier waybill
• File packing slip copies, file bills of lading & carrier waybill copies for outgoing shipments
• Answer branch inquiries on orders
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse; maintain all stocking locations and accuracy
• Perform inventory counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and notify Sales staff and Inventory team of any inventory discrepancies
• Adopt lean six sigma methodologies and incorporate 6S policies throughout warehouse areas and workflow

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• High school diploma, or equivalency, is required
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or with Parts, is desirable
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Outlook and ERP systems
• Comfortable working with deadlines

The base pay range for this role is: $29.92 per hour.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, BC.
