The Fort Vermilion School Division invites applications for the position Pathways Home Education/Pathways Student Supports

Pathways Home Education/Pathways Student Supports

Northern Home is under the umbrella of Pathways, which oversees alternative education in the Fort Vermilion School Division.

NHE has approximately 600 students registered and receiving services. Pathways Outreach has approximately 200 students in grades 7-12.

There are two campuses, one in La Crete and one in High Level.

This teaching position would primarily be based out of the La Crete Campus.

The successful candidate would:

Support homeschool parents with resources and programming.

Use assessment practices to guide parents in their instruction and materials.

Provide staff, students, and parents with literacy and numeracy development.

Build, support, and implement inclusive education practices.

Oversee and support Knowledge and Employability programming at the La Crete Campus.

Has a Bachelor of Education degree.

FVSD serves approximately 4,000 students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds in fifteen well-equipped, safe, and caring schools and a Home Education Center, all located in several Northwest Alberta communities.
