As a Payroll Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes while adhering to regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Calculating and processing employee wages, bonuses, and deductions with meticulous attention to detail.
Ensuring compliance with Canadian tax laws, employment standards, and statutory deductions.
Maintaining precise payroll records and employee data, and preparing relevant reports for management.
Managing payroll software systems and promptly addressing employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Conducting regular audits to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
Collaborating with management to identify opportunities for process optimization and internal control enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in Canadian payroll administration, familiarity with Canadian payroll software, and understanding of federal, provincial, and territorial payroll regulations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
