RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update employee information, such as records of employee for hourly and salary.
- Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and source deductions.
- Complete and verify the information received from various locations and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay.
- Reconcile Payroll GL accounts by various systems used for payments.
- Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements (T4), pension, Records of Employment (ROE) and other statements.
- Compile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and hours reconciliation.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies by communicating with various department heads.
- Perform duties in highly confidential manner.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years payroll related experience
- Experience in Sage 50 or Payroll accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Excellent oral and strong written communication skills
- Highly professional and polite with a positive attitude

Salary: $36,529.34-$62,209.15 per year
