The YFNED is seeking a positive, motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Finance team. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail, possessing the essential skills and attributes needed to navigate the complexities of Payroll and Benefits administration. Their expertise lies in the proficient use of payroll software and information systems tools, allowing them to meticulously calculate wages, deductions and Benefits, ensuring precise financial transactions. An awareness and understanding of employment laws and regulations will support the navigation of compliance requirements. Strong mathematical acumen is fundamental, enabling the specialist to conduct intricate calculations and analyses contributing to the accuracy and reliability of the entire Payroll and Benefits process.

Effective communication is a critical skill in this role. Beyond the realm of numbers, the specialist must communicate complex Payroll and Benefits information clearly to employees. This skill extends to collaboration with internal teams to maintain a cohesive work environment. The ability to manage multiple tasks with organizational finesse, coupled with problem-solving abilities ensures they can address issue promptly.
