Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Payroll & HRIS Coordinator for a Temporary to permanent role located in Etobicoke, ON. As the CAN Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations for 900 employees across Canada, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Additionally, you will provide crucial HR Technology Support and play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal HRIS/Dayforce functionality.

  • Pay rate: $26-$28/hour depending on experience.

  • Location: Etobicoke, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary to permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Run payrolls for 900 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Collaborate with the US team and Payroll Manager to gather and validate data.

  • Handle payroll corrections, retro-pay, ROEs, and other payroll-related changes.

  • Provide day-to-day system support to HR and the organization.

  • Offer technical assistance and solutions for HR technology issues.

  • Stay updated on Dayforce updates and best practices for optimal system performance.

  • Act as a technical resource for HR systems support, training, and issue resolution.

  • Conduct HRIS maintenance, resolve errors, and generate custom reports.

  • Support system analysis of time, pay, and benefits configuration.

Requirements:

  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Past experience with Dayforce and payroll processing.

  • Familiarity with HR functions and excellent customer service skills.

  • High accuracy, ability to handle confidential information, and maintain discretion.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.

  • Experience with XML, third-party application support, and workflow/form building preferred.
