Personal Care Worker

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to an individual in need of care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record information, such as blood pressure
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship

- light housekeeping and simple meal prep
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for a patients with limited mobility impairments
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest level of patient care

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience or certifications in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of nursing home, home care, or hospice care practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, transferring and physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.52-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
