Personal Caregiver & Support Worker

Seeking a responsible, compassionate combination Personal Caregiver & Support Worker to provide in-home and community support for my 27 years old special needs daughter. She is a delightful and passive young lady with Cerebral Palsy who uses a wheelchair.

The job entails personal care, including diaper changes, dressing, tube feeding, bathing, oral care (brushing teeth, using oral swap to moisten mouth, and suctioning when required, etc..), stretches, Eye care, medication administration, etc…. Young lady requires assistance in all aspects of life. Some light laundry might be required when needed. Some driving may be required, with the client’s vehicle.

Perfume, smoking, and Nut free home as young lady is allergic to perfume and ALL NUTS.

Care provider-Support Worker will also be responsible for attending programs and involving young lady in activities, social interaction with her peers, community events, outings, stretches, and walker time. As well as providing companionship, emotional support, and demonstrating patience.

Requirements:

First Aid Certificate

CPR Certificate

Criminal & vulnerable check

Valid Driver’s license

Must be vaccinated.

Non-Smoker

Experience is an asset, but not necessary as we are willing to train.

Position available is Monday to Friday 8 am – 3 or 4 pm (willing to consider part-time applicants)
