Salary In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our clients in Newmarket. Work setting is within private homes. Hindi speaking language requirement for this role as well as your own vehicle. The shifts are 4 hours per day 9:00AM-1:00PM.
As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care especially during the Covid 19 pandemic.
How you will spend your days:
Basic Meal Preparation
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL's)
Light Housekeeping (IADL's vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers
Success in this role:
Valid drivers license and car
Comprehension of Hindi or Indian language
Personal Support Worker Certificate
Foreign Nurse
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Mobile phone (wellsky app for scheduling)
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation:
$22.00 per hour.
