Pharmacy Technician

Jackson's Guardian Pharmacy has an opening for a FULL time REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN. Candidate must be a flexible, reliable team player and self starter. Must be committed to providing excellent, fast, friendly customer care. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm & Saturdays 9:00am to 5:00pm. Previous experience with Kroll is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter patient information and prescriptions into the computer system
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining inventory and records

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
