Plant Security Guard - Alliston

We are currently seeking to hire for a plant guard position in Alliston, Ontario, located close to Orangeville, Caledon, Bolton and Barrie. The candidate must be able to commit to commuting to the job site in Alliston with their own vehicle.

Position Details:

• Day Rotation: 0800-2000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, receiving packages, greeting visitors and answering the phone
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for reporting, and dealing with incidents when applicable
• Visitor access control
• Carrying out duties while maintaining excellent standards of customer care
• Ensuring guests are abiding by the protocols set out by the client
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring CCTV and investigating areas.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Basic computer skills
• Must have your own transportation to and from work location
