*This position has 12hr rotating shifts, with fully paid benefits available after 3 months.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Operates the production of the facility and the coordinates maintenance affairs of the organization(s). Assist with preparing analyses of facility production. Including but not limited to: production outputs, schedules, maintenance costs, operational efficiencies, safety reports for the guidance of Senior Management.

The Facility Operator is responsible for the company’s production operations and equipment & technology maintenance practices. The Facility Operator is responsible for assisting in directing: employees, equipment, contractors, and operations that occur on site. This includes assisting in directing both maintenance staff and labourers to optimize production efficiencies. The Facility Operator will also be assisting in design, construction, and commissioning of new equipment/technology. The Facility Operator is also responsible for the conduct of its relationships with employees, contractors, equipment and parts suppliers, and the local community.

This role considered to be safety sensitive.

PLANNING

Assist in preparing monthly reports to show cost/benefit analysis of operations and maintenance programs.

Assist in planning employee schedules and maintenance events to ensure optimal use of resources and maximize production outputs.

Is required to assist other Division Operators to supervise any other operational segments at the facility. Facility Operators will also conduct shutdowns to ensure maximum efficiency while workers are performing maintenance duties, as well as plan for integration of new equipment, technologies, or processes into existing production systems. MANAGEMENT

Facility Operators will conduct operations and maintenance in all departments of the production facility. Jobs/tasks associated to this includes, but is not limited to the following:

•Scheduling Employee shifts

•Training & on-boarding of new and existing employees

•Training and on-boarding of contractors

•Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures for all facility site operations

•Oversee safety program creation and implementation

•Manage any and all inspections, audits, and programs necessary

•Operational budget creation

•Budget analysis

•Forecast production outputs monthly and annually

•Equipment/Technology maintenance

•Overview of all maintenance operations

•Budgetary planning for equipment maintenance

•Equipment creation

•Third party work planning/coordination

•Ensure schedules and timelines kept on track

•Assist to approve equipment prior to implementation

•Commission new equipment

Assist in the development, analysis, and interpretation of operations to ensure optimal facility production, managing employees, equipment & technology to assess operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, safety and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.

The Facility Operator will assist in scheduling all maintenance of existing equipment in the facility. This will include preventative/ simple maintenance procedures and significant work, or shutdowns as required. CRHC will expect the Facility Operator to conduct operations and assist with maintenance as well as assist physically if necessary, to ensure facility is operating at its maximum efficiencies.

CRHC will be responsible for determining Facility Operator job priorities if duties extend pass facility operational and imminent maintenance requirements, to ensure optimal use of time & resources.

Evaluates and recommends operational procedures for protection against losses and potential liabilities. Designs and manages maintenance program to effectively optimize new and existing equipment.

Will assist in being responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel at the facility. The Facility Operator will assist in hiring processes, training requirements, has the duty to keep the staff at the highest level of skill necessary to meet company needs and objectives, and may recommend that personnel be hired or removed from the facility.
