This part-time position is perfect for a experienced and enthusiastic Youth Leader, Early Childhood Educator (ECE), or Educational Assistant (EA). Responsibilities:
As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Fostering a culture of inclusivity and support for community youth.
- Collaborating with the Youth Program Director to design and implement engaging programs.
- Ensuring adherence to organizational integrity and philosophy.
- Smooth execution of program plans lead by Youth Program Director, keeping an eye on progress and summarizing the journey in reports that capture highlights, hurdles and achievements.
- Monthly reporting to the Executive Director.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW), Diploma in Early childhood Education, Diploma in Educational Assistance, Human Service Diploma or related field. Experience in any of these fields will be considered.
- Proven experience in program marketing to effectively engage the community.
- Initiative-taking mindset and ensuring the development and implementation of creative ideas to enhance program participation.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, contributing to the safety and well-being of program participants.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
