Department: Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Fisheries (DAAF) - Sector Development - Potato
Placement Description: This position will involve assisting with designing research plots, seed cutting, planting, field management and data collection, aphid collection and identification, data entry of trial results, and assist with compiling the reports. The candidate will also work in the potato quality testing lab and process sugar and fry samples.
Qualifications:
- Language requirement: English, French, or bilingual
- A minimum 1-year postsecondary education
Skills/Highlights:
- Valid driver's license is an asset
- Able to do physical work
- Microscope skills
- Collecting and recording data
- Aptitude for detail
- Microsoft Office
