Pricing Analyst

Hensall Global provides freight transportation services and logistics solutions to a global customer base.

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Investigate and negotiate freight rates and services.

· Know dimensions of various modes, trade lanes, and multiple origin to destination pairings.

· Facilitate regular communication with multiple vendors to review services and rates.

· Ensure customer rates are accurate and distributed to customers on a timely basis.

· Liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure all information is accurate and detailed from pricing to costing.

· Investigate and resolve any service charge claims and invoice discrepancies.

· Develop sound knowledge of customer requirements and ensure alignment with required transportation service.

· Develop long-term working relationships with transportation providers.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Post-Secondary education in business, finance or related program is an asset.

· 1 year experience in transportation/international freight forwarding and third-party logistics.

· Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Solid understanding of industry terminology and concepts.

· Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).

· Ability to take initiative and problem solve.

· Analytical thinker with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

· Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills.

· Strong negotiation skills with ability to adapt as required.

· A positive and professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with all team members and customers.
