About Potash
The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.

Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for late 2026. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Work Location
Downtown, Saskatoon office. 40 hours per week. Hybrid working (flexible, shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP. Consideration will be made for candidates wishing to have a part-time work arrangement (32 hours per week).
Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office (PMO) this role is responsible for facilitating key reporting routines on behalf of the Potash Asset and Project Leadership team, providing timely and accurate insights to senior leaders and other business stakeholders.
About the Role
In this role you will:
  • Build strong working relationships within both the global projects organization and the regional Potash business to coordinate the development of key monthly and quarterly reports (ensuring the quality of deliverables is maintained and deadlines are met).
  • Coordinate, update and maintain critical project information across the Potash portfolio of studies and projects, and ensure they are captured in PlanView, our company wide Portfolio Management software.
  • Identify and challenge the way in which data is aggregated, analyzed and presented, suggesting and implementing improvements where required (in toolkits, processes and systems).
  • Provide guidance and training to Projects team members on reporting expectations, and key portfolio management systems.
  • Deliver monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and provide timely Portfolio Performance insights.
  • Track and report the benefit realization of Value Optimization and Capital Efficiency initiatives across the portfolio.
About You
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide clear and concise insights from complex data sets.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders across all levels to build a culture of collaboration and achieve change through influence.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with strong quality control skills.
  • Experience with KPI definition and calculation, data visualisation and Reporting tools is highly recommended.
