Program Coordinator
Permanent Full-time
Let’s start this off with a very clear disclaimer: we do not care about your previous experience or education. We’re looking for someone who has a great attitude and wants to jump head-first into the world of tech startups.
Co.Labs supports the Saskatchewan tech ecosystem. To date, we’ve incubated over 200 tech startups. This role offers a front-row seat to our programs, events, and a chance to work with the fastest-growing companies.
Purpose of the job:
As a Program Coordinator, you will be in charge of Co.Labs’ startup pipeline. You’ll do whatever it takes to support startup founders as they turn their ideas into reality. You’ll work directly with the Program Director as a key member of the Programs team.
Your role:
- Meet with prospective founders to determine their fit in our programs
- Create and deploy program resources based on founders’ needs
- Facilitate in-person coaching, mentoring, and group education sessions
- Manage a network of experts and mentors who can support our founders
- Plan and execute Co.Hack, our annual developer-focused hackathon
- Think creatively to build onto and improve our early-stage program offerings
"Need to haves":
- Available to work full-time and in-person in Saskatoon
- Highly organized and communicates clearly and transparently
- Comfortable working irregular hours
- Can handle having difficult conversations (say “no” with a smile)
- Seek problems to solve (and provide potential solutions)
- Intense desire to learn about business and tech
"Nice to haves":
- Startup or tech experience
- Business or financial analysis experience
- Experience working with Google Workspace, Slack, Excel, Notion, and HubSpot
Our culture:
Co.Labs is a startup that builds startups. We pride ourselves on thriving in a challenging yet rewarding work environment. Here, every day is different. We are looking for someone that brings high energy, enjoys solving problems, and takes initiative and ownership.
How you fit:
We care about attitude above all else. You aren’t scared to be yourself and know how to get people engaged. If you can bring a great energy to our programs on day 1, we can teach you the rest.
We look for the best and most ambitious people to work here. The intended salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, but is negotiable based on experience. On top of this, we have a competitive benefits package, which includes dental, general health, vacation, and a HSA.
If the shoe fits (or kinda sorta fits), please apply here. We encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, origin, or disability.
Only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
