Principal Product Manager

DOZR is a marketplace for the online rental of heavy equipment. Our platform helps contractors of all sizes find the equipment rentals they need anywhere, anytime, and instantly compare prices from thousands of equipment suppliers across North America (including peer-to-peer equipment sharing). Founded by experienced construction veterans, DOZR is disrupting the way this $60+ Billion dollar industry operates. This is big. Really big.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual who has a desire to be part of an early stage company. On small team, reporting into the VP of Product, we’re looking for someone who has experience in end to end product delivery, customer profiles, and data ownership in a scrappy and autonomous environment.

On a Typical Day, You Will:

• Devise, implement, and oversee product strategy in our key areas while driving product initiatives from conception to launch
• Understand the industry landscape to assist in refining outbound product positioning and help define our product strategy and vision
• Work with the design/engineering/product teams to develop and launch products with efficiency
• Define and execute on user testing and research to get inside our customer’s heads to understand the core problems they’re facing.
• Work with sales, marketing, operations, account management and customer success to ensure that we’re supporting our internal teams towards our company objectives
• Experience transforming product strategy into well-articulated business requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to inform product direction and prioritization.
• Drive development of solutions and project management from concept to launch.

Who Are You?

• Ideally quantitative or technical in background
• Uses research as a key input for product strategy for their product area and relevant use cases
• Can effectively define the analysis we need, independently seek and evaluate data insights to inform product strategy
• Has led multiple product initiatives from conception to launch with an eye for driving impact
• Responsible for shaping the ambiguous & impactful strategies across teams, breaking them down and providing teams clear direction.
• Wants to get to the bottom of things: curious and committed
• Is a team player and problem solver
