Print Machine Operator job opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional is currently looking for an experienced Zund Print Machine Operator to join our client in Toronto, ON (York, ON area, TTC accessible and free parking). This is an interim opportunity a short term need with potential to extend giving you the opportunity to join a well-known, global custom print company. The selected candidate will be responsible for safe operation of the Zund Print Machines. To qualify for this role, you must have previous experience in the print industry utilizing printing press machinery and equipment; experience with the operation of a Zund machine is required. Our client is looking to fill shifts this Thursday, 12pm - 8pm and Friday from 3:30pm - 12am. If you are detail oriented individual with ability to critically problem-solve and work in a fairly independent role, please read on to learn more.

The responsibilities for the Zund Print Machine Operator job opening in Toronto, ON may include, but are not limited to:

• Operate Zund machinery for custom print jobs/projects

• Complete orders from beginning to end

• Run quality tests

• Load materials, monitor machines and complete finish results

• Update order status in internal software

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

To qualify for the Zund Print Machine Operator job opening in Toronto, ON, you must have the following;

• Zund Print Machine Operating experience is required OR Digital Print Operator experience as a flexible option.

• Comfortable with standard operating procedures and ability to adhere to all safety regulations

• Ability to manage up to 50lb packages, comfortable standing for consecutive periods at a time

• Flexible to work the available schedule; Thursday 12pm - 8pm and Friday 3:30pm - 12am

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely in various working conditions

• Excellent punctuality and judgment skills  

• Safety Shoes required
