What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a high potential leader to lead the strategy, planning and execution of events with a goal to drive guest satisfaction, sales, and create positive impressions with all key audiences. Reporting to the Private Events Operations Manager, our Private Events & VIP Specialist will develop robust plans to ensure all events are executed to the highest degree of success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and present detailed proposals for event participation to Sales, Brand, and Guest Experience teams, determine event budgets and plans for execution.
  • Maintain annual Event Calendar and communicate internally/externally to all stakeholders.
  • Develop robust plans to ensure all events are executed on-time and on-budget and with the highest degree of professionalism and success.
  • Oversee event details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, staffing, invitations, audio-visual, insurance, etc.
  • Assess each event and create post-mortem report assessing the ROI, key wins, key losses and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage logistics for VIP visits including full cycle itinerary, reservations, and transportation
  • Develop and oversee all VIP itineraries across our collection of estate properties
  • Support sales efforts, including virtual tastings, contract preparation, and sponsor acquisition

What You Have:

  • Organized, with excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • 3+ years of experience in events coordination or related field.
  • Degree in marketing, communications or business administration required.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Experience creating basic event collateral, such as ads, flyers, posters, etc.
  • Strong creative skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and hard working.
  • Ability to work evening and weekends to oversee and coordinate events.
  • Possess a “can do” attitude and believes anything is possible with the right focus.
  • Able to work independently and “roll up your sleeves” to make things happen.
  • High intensity team player who thrives in a fast paced, high intensity, dynamic environment.
  • Works well under pressure and with deadlines, effective stress management skills.
