At Universal Railway Operations, we are currently seeking a Process Operator to support our Fort Saskatchewan team at Heartland Sulphur LP.
This Operator works under the direction of the Shift Lead, is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment associated within the Sulphur forming and handling terminal. This position will monitor Plant performance from field and liaise with Shift Lead to ensure plant operations and loading requirements are met daily. They will also conduct and monitor preventive maintenance duties for all areas of the plant and document.
sdf Considerations for the successful candidate will include:
- Double vaccination for Covid-19 is required
- Ability to work and get along with all co-workers
- Communicate effectively with people verbally and written
- Class 3 or 4 Power Engineering ticket is required
- The ability to operate Heavy Equipment is considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability work independently
- Physical capability to perform the job duties
- Competent in the use and care of hand tools
