Outline of the Role

• Achieve production targets while meeting quality standards
• Implementing new line procedures and processes determined by management
• Perform product changes, CIP, and SIP operations in the pasteurizers per quality requirements
• Ensuring that the production line operates without incident or down time
• Perform autonomous maintenance, preventative maintenance on all process equipment
• Document key processing parameters
• Ongoing training of others as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
• Courses in Food Technology / Food Science / Biotechnology
• Leadership experience
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous JCS direct steam injection system experience is considered an asset
• Able to complete documents in a legible fashion
• Basic technical skills to troubleshoot issue related to process equipment

Authority for Key personnel:

• Report any Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety concerns to Supervisor/Quality team immediately
• Key Personnel cannot release any product from hold
• Key Personnel must work with Quality to place product on hold when out of spec

Salary: $18.63 per hour
