Job Description
Plans, develops and validates assembly and test instructions using eCATES.
Defines and validates the tooling and test equipment necessary to assemble, test modules and
engines conforming to P&WC quality and engineering standards.
Participates in PFMEAS and RPN determination.
Maintains a close relationship with engineering in regards to test instructions creation. Interprets
complex drawings, documents and engineering specifications.
Incorporates Red flags, engineering changes and temporary assembly procedures.
Supports production in the improvement of assembly procedures and production readiness.
Maintains the Engine center General instructions (ECGI). General instructions that guide
assemblers on standard work (lockwire, torques, teardown etc…)
Support CVIS and data plate machine (ROFFIN) programing.
Support the implementation and programming of TMS (torque measuring system)
Support the creation of routings for job orders specific to assembly kits.
Supports production in the maintenance and improvement of test instructions.
First point of contact for the creation of temporary assembly and test procedures during an
investigation.
Leads or participates in a quality clinic to assure the maintenance of ACE key performance
indicators. (SSR , Re-test, DR RFA, SSH reduction, OEMi, ANDONS)
