Job Duties:
-Under direct supervision, issues purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management.
-Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures.
-Expedites, de- expedites and issues change orders to meet manufacturing, field plant or project demands.
-Analyzes and resolves basic Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt issues (GRIR) with assistance as needed.
-Assists in creating request for quotations (RFQ) and organizing competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services.
-Assists in assessing supplier performance.
-Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
-Supporting multiple product service lines and business teams by being their point of contact with third party suppliers and vendors. 
-Develops trust of stakeholders, internal and external customers by establishing positive relationships while driving value. 
-Collaborate with the product service lines to identify RFx opportunities including preparation of specifications and establishing a detailed scope of work, creating scorecords and facilitiation of supplier meetings. 
-Manage local procurement activities and vendor performance with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. 
-Takes a hands on and proactive approach to collaborate with Operations, Category Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective working relationships and successful outcomes. 
-Leads spend alayses andidentifies, supports, and implements improvement opportunities to include; supplier identification, selection, and consolidation; negotiating favorable contract ters that includes pricing, quality, ervice, and availability; strategically sourcing regional categories. 
-Gather, analyze, and interpret data to determine areas of purchasing priorities, and best path forard for RFx opportunities throughout the region. 
-Primary administrator for the Procurement Card Program
-Follow up on the supply issues, vendor maintenance requests and work with suppliers on continued improvement. 
 
Qualifications:
-Completion of an undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or similar discipline required.
-SAP Purchase to Pay knowledge desirable.
-Experience with computers and Microsoft Suite programs required.
