Produce/Stock Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Produce/Stock Clerk to join our team. We are looking for an individual to join our team who is FRIENDLY, a team player, and excels in providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the produce section, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries
- Stock and replenish produce displays to ensure availability and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce section
- Rotate and remove any expired or damaged products
- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Assist customers in finding specific products and provide recommendations as needed
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming produce shipments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures is an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
