About the Job:
We are currently seeking a technical-minded Production and Packaging Line Operator to join our team. This position guarantees 32 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during peak times. The role often involves 10-hour shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting in the morning. A vehicle and valid driver’s license are necessary as occasional travel to an offsite warehouse may be required.

Success in this role hinges on accuracy, quality, and efficiency. We are looking for individuals with a strong problem-solving mindset, effective time management skills, adaptability, and a commitment to safe work practices. Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing, and inventory control is preferred. All tasks will be performed with strict adherence to personal safety, food safety, quality, and environmental policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly-line Production and Packaging of Lumette Alt-Spirits and Sheringham Distillery products.
• Assist in managing inventory of raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, and barrelled products in coordination with management.
• Potential involvement in the distillation of Lumette Alt-Spirits products.
• Regular cleaning of still, tanks, lines, boiler, and all other equipment, along with maintaining Production and operations facilities to exacting standards.
• Ensure machinery functionality and overall production flow through monitoring set-points, checking product quality, adjusting equipment to troubleshoot problems, and advocating for product changes in equipment.
• Contribute to meeting daily production goals in the Bottling Department, following safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space utilization.
• Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or higher.
• Proven working experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Previous kitchen experience in food preparation or chef role is a plus.

Skills and Certifications:

• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Food Safe Level 1 preferred.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 preferred.
• Driver’s License required.
• Forklift Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move over 40 lbs.
