Production Floor Supervisor (Day Shift And Evening Shift)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to supervise our production processes, working closely with production staff, and management to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows, while adhering to safety protocols.

The goal is to ensure that production deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure staff levels are maintained through full cycle management – hiring production staff, evaluations, discipline, resolving conflicts
• Ensure production staff are following company rules and meeting assigned schedule requirements
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Meet regularly with senior management to report on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in full cycle human management including conflict resolution
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
• Able to work on site a minimum of 40 hour per week working a flexible schedule
• Must have personal transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
