Production General Labourer

Niagara Block is a 3rd generation family-owned business that believes highly in team work, a cooperative culture, integrity and work ethic. This role is to assist in manufacturing production line to make a good quality concrete product.

We are looking for a skilled worker and team player to learn the manufacturing process and assist in ongoing mechanical maintenance.

General

• Handle assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned
• Keep work area clean
• Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations
• Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. from ground level

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Experience in manufacturing or production an asset
• Experience in welding and electrical an asset
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to show initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $21.00 per hour
