Production Operator Supervisor

The Production Operator is responsible for operating automated biochar processing equipment. In addition to working in a leading-edge, environmentally friendly, technology environment, you will have the opportunity to learn from a team of dedicated professionals.

Job Status: Permanent Fulltime

Responsibilities:
· Maintain continuous production operations and minimize potential machine downtime.

· Demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of equipment.

· Promptly communicate production outages to supervision.

· Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, and standardize operational procedures to ensure compliance with all requirements.

· Carry out clean-up duties at the end of each shift.

· Conduct pre-startup inspections of all production and processing equipment according to standards.

· Adhere to all required Health & Safety requirements.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Verify correct raw materials according to the production schedule.

· Make minor adjustments to equipment to maintain specified product characteristics.

· Monitor equipment settings and operation variables.

Qualifications:

· Willingness to learn new processes

· Experience in with at least one of the following would be considered an asset: manufacturing, material handling, factory work, forklift, and or mechanical work

· Ability to work in a physical product type environment

· Ability to embrace hands on solutions to complex challenges

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Strong work ethic

· Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects at a time

Site Location: 1088 Kennaway rd, Haliburton ON. Must have the reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

Shift Schedule: 12hr shifts alternating 3 day/4 day work week averaging 42 hours/week.

Available shift schedules:

Morning Shift #1: 6am- 6pm Mon - Wed/Thurs

Morning Shift #2: 6am- 6pm Thurs/Fri - Sun

Night Shift #3: 6pm- 6am Mon - Wed/Thurs

Night Shift #4: 6pm- 6am Thurs/Fri - Sun

Hourly Rate: $26/hr + night shift premium
