Primary responsibilities will be to work and consult with the Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing teams to ensure production is planned in accordance with customer requirements
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance to all customer and drawing specifications
- Process and review work orders to update ENG Masters
- Review and update ENG Masters and Part Masters to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Schedule internal services by creating and issuing work orders, QC sheets and drawings
- Process, review, update and assemble work orders for production
- Issue purchase requests for supplier components
- Take corrective actions to expedite customer requirements as required
- Attend continuous improvements meetings and complete projects, as required
- Understand the Fabris Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and Quality Management System (QMS)
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or minimum 5 years’ experience in product processing/planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machine shop, fabrication and assembly operations, procedures and processes
- Knowledge of inventory control and management
- Experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP
- Experience with quoting/estimating an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
