AddressHydragreens Produce is a high-tech indoor farm located in Springbank, AB. We use Cubic Farms Technology to grow a large variety of produce for local markets. At Hydragreens, we are passionate about growing local produce using sustainable methods. We are currently looking for hard working individuals to join our team for production related tasks.
EducationandExperience:
· At least one year of farm experience, production or manufacturing preferred
· High school diploma preferred
Qualifications:
· Ability to multi-task and balance projects at various stages.
· Ability to do repetitive work.
· Ability to work in wet conditions throughout the day.
· Ability to use pressure washer and other power tools safely for extended periods of time.
· A great attitude!
· Excellent communication skills.
· Able to solve problems or overcome issues quickly and creatively.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift approximately 25 lbs. of weight
· Passionate about growing the freshest produce possible.
· Proven ability to work steadily and independently with minimum supervision.
· Ability to work positively with a team.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
· Driving License. Must be able to travel to Springbank each day
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning with pressure washers for several hours per day
- Assist in seeding, transplanting, harvesting, packing and cleaning.
- Use equipment correctly and safely; demonstrate proper cultivation and harvest techniques
- Work with farm staff to continually improve farm productivity.
- Follow Safety Guidelines and Safe Food Handling Guidelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment and facilities, keep farm and all facilities clean, tidy and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
