We are looking for a relief cook for our daycare program
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates daily food supply inventory for cafeteria. Submits order to supervisor.
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
- Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with supervisor.
- Ensures smooth operation of kitchen and meal services.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
- Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed.
- Busses meals to classrooms and cleans up accordingly.

If you have a childcare level you will be eligible for top up, which may bring the pay to $17-25 per hour.
- 7.25-8 hour shift per day
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
