Best Coast Adventure Therapy provides children and youth of all abilities an opportunity to experience nature through recreation and adventure activities in small group settings while supporting social, emotional and physical skill growth in a variety of fun and engaging activities.

JOB POSTING:
Part-Time Program Facilitator
Seeking a dedicated individual to join Best Coast Adventure Therapy as a Program Facilitator beginning with 2-3 days a week in a long term role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
● Post-secondary education in a related field
● Experience working with children and youth with autism and other diverse abilities
● Current First Aid and CPR
● Completed criminal record check
● Class 5 driver’s licence and vehicle with commercial insurance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
● Build a rapport with participants (ages 6-18)
● Transport children and youth from their homes to activity locations
● Work alongside the lead Program Facilitator and independently with small groups
● Set up and lead activities including sports, hikes, kayaking, and paddleboarding

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
