SalaryWild & Immersive is an outdoor educational program that aims to create environmentally curious and healthy individuals through inspiring nature-based experiences. You can learn more about our programs at www.wildandimmersive.ubc.ca.
We are currently seeking responsible Program Facilitators to support our day camp programs for the summer of 2024.
Duties include:
- Facilitating outdoor educational day camps for youth ages 5-12
- Assisting in organization of programs and camps
- Ensuring program materials are organized, cleaned, and in safe working condition
- Develop and maintain trail networks and outdoor play spaces
- Additional duties as required
Wild & ImmersiveProgram Facilitators are passionate about working with children, and sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the outdoors. Facilitators are patient, reliable, and able to meet the physical demands of the job, including working outside.
Facilitators must be able to provide a current Criminal Record check, and will be trained in OFA Level 1.
Due to funding eligibility, candidates must be a Canadian Citizen (or have a valid work permit), and between 16-30 years of age. Reliable transportation to/from work is expected.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
