Adecco is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Project Construction Engineer - Scheduling for a Full-Time position based in St. Thomas, ON. As a vital member of the construction site team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling construction milestones, managing tasks and projects, and representing technical topics to the project team. This role requires occasional travel to Europe and offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule construction milestones, considering all interfaces.
Act as a client representative, coordinating external consultants.
Monitor and report on compliance in all aspects of the project.
Interpret project documents to determine requirements and paths of action.
Conduct site inspections, deliver progress reports, and manage progress.
Communicate effectively with internal and external construction team members.
Submit reports on project execution status.
Represent technical topics to the project team.
occasional travel to Europe (~10%).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, MEP engineering, or related field.
P.Eng. or P.E. preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with execution of industrial facilities.
Experience in setting up overall schedules and tracking milestones.
Familiarity with large projects and complex project teams.
Understanding of design and construction processes.
Ability to work safely on an active construction site.
Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with LEAN methods, Oracle/Aconex considered assets.
High degrees of team orientation and social competence.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control/assurance.
