Form of workAdecco is currently seeking a dynamic Project Construction Manager – Electrical for an exciting EV Battery Launch project in St. Thomas, ON. As a key member of the construction management team, you will spearhead the electrical sub-project, managing its complete lifecycle. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership, project engineering expertise, and a keen understanding of construction-related processes.

Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical sub-project within the construction management team.
Manage external consultants as the primary client representative.
Perform on-site construction-related project engineering tasks.
Coordinate, schedule, and monitor tasks and projects.
Communicate effectively with internal and external construction team members.
Interpret project documents and ensure compliance in all aspects.
Conduct site inspections and submit detailed project status reports.
Represent technical topics to the project team and review engineering deliverables.
Ensure deliverable deadlines, quality, and cost targets are met.
Organize acceptances and handovers and manage construction contracts.
Occasionally travel to Europe (~10%).
Requirements:
Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
International mindset with an interest in global work and diverse teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
P.Eng. or P.E. preferred but not required.
8+ years in construction, with a focus on industrial facilities.
Experience in large project management, especially in Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in construction scheduling, workflows, and quality control.
Familiarity with construction contract law and contract management.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong team orientation and social competence.
Fluent in MS Office suite; experience with LEAN methods is a plus.
Able to work on an active construction site safely.
