Responsibilities:
Act on the instruction of the Program Lead and/or PMO leadership to provide requisite PMO support to Delivery Teams, Business Readiness/ Change Management Teams & Pilot/Production Validation Teams, vendor Readiness and Conversion Stream Leads.
Support the Program PMO across all dimensions of Project controls including but not limited to (Project Scheduling, Financial Controls & Management, RAID Management, Governance Modeling, Resource Control, Sow/Contracts Administration etc.)
Work with the Programs Vendor Readiness Lead for effective engagement with respective vendor relationship managers to ensure timely capture of Change Requests, monthly forecast, invoicing and necessary artefacts to support the accrual process
Process any Project Change Requests (PCR) as required as part of the Project OP Management
Own and Manage program/PMO Master RAID log. Facilitate risk and issues triage/escalation calls. Capture and track Program level Action and Decisional items, where necessary follow up with action item owner
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
University Bachelors Degree is required
5+ years of Project management experience with strong acumen in financial management
2+ years of experience with cost & forecast planning within traditional Waterfall and Agile projects
2+ years of Experience running cost planning meeting with business & technology stakeholders inc. Dev/QA Engineering teams
Strong Proficiency with MS Tools (PPT, Excel – pivot tables, macros, etc., MS Project)
Experience working on a fast-paced multi-year strategic initiative
Knowledge of Scotiabank’s project management & planning tools (e.g., CA PPM, SMS, etc.) is strongly preferred
Financial Services Industry Experience
Project Management certification
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira/Confluence, Leankit/Miroboard)
Must be able to Multitask
Must have ability to work within a fast-paced project environment
Excellent communication skills
