Job description

Responsibilities:
- The Project Controls Officer at PACE is responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects, including initial proposal writing, document control, financial controls, and project plans. This role involves assisting in resource management and ensuring projects are planned and executed within the defined scope, schedule, and budget.

The incumbent will be responsible for the program management function and ensuring that all project coordinators and project managers are following PACE’s project management & time tracking process. They will participate in the scoping and developing of proposal and be responsible for ensuring projects have the right resources assigned to them,

The Project Controls Officer will work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure all tasks are executed to the highest standard and align with PACE’s core values of Clarity, Curiosity and Candour.

What You’ll Do

· Provide Project Controls for PACE by monitoring, controlling, and communicating project costs.

· Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy, ensuring all project costs are accounted for and within budget.

· Create and review proposals, offering guidance for continuous improvement.

· Develop and maintain an issues log and project documents such as meeting minutes and project tracking sheets.

· Provide regular project status updates to the Senior Management team.

· Review contract documents and ensure projects are successfully executed according to the project scope, schedule, and budget.

· Provide guidance for change management as required during project execution.

· Assist in project schedules and resource allocation.

· Provide on-site support to PACE employees as needed, including but not limited providing backup and client coverage for the site area coordinators.

· Address and manage concerns and challenges that arise during client interactions.

· Assist Senior Management team for upcoming projects with scope and budget development.

· Identify project risks and provide guidance for risk mitigation.

What You’ll Need

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

· Proven experience in project management and controls.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools and software.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
