Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to join their team. We are a leading ICI General Contractor committed to excellence and innovation in every project we undertake. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a talented individual to lead their Project Management Office (PMO) and drive the success of their construction projects.
Job Description
The Project Director will be responsible for building, managing, and monitoring the success of our Project Management Office (PMO). This includes overseeing and monitoring the performance of all Project Managers, providing strategic oversight, tactical recommendations, and relational mentoring. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting Project Management Teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
- Monitoring project schedules and budgets, implementing strategic risk management and mitigations, and supporting dispute resolutions.
- Actively participating in OAC meetings and associated conflict resolution processes.
- Ensuring projects are properly resourced and reporting project health to the Executive Team.
- Promptly resolving project deficiencies, ensuring client satisfaction, and documenting lessons learned.
- Building, nurturing, mentoring, and refining Project Management Teams.
